Band Spotlight : New Aesthetic

Hailing from San Diego, CA, New Aesthetic makes its statement bold and energetic. Bringing in inspiring sounds from Blink 182, No Pressure, and State Champs, the band from “America’s Finest City” continues to write and produce tracks that showcase high energy and great times. The sonic quality of the music from New Aesthetic itself is musically crisp and crunchy, and those qualities alone define the giving genre of their persona.

“Spork” is their latest single, describing the emotion of regret and heartbreak along with feeling rage over love betrayal. The song overall brings back memories of Warped Tour during the summer, for you can freely be yourself and have a good time with live music and crowd anticipation. To this day, I still get that feeling of anticipation and excitement, wanting to see them live as I did with Warped Tour. Their second newest single, “Screaming Out” is definitely my favorite of their music so far. From the crowd-friendly chorus of screaming well-known words to the relatable lyrics containing rage, anger, and doubt reflection while in that moment, anyone that listens to the song will sadly relate and can cope with the rest of listeners that enjoy their music.

Seeing them live this past Sunday, I can tell you that the energy they portray in their music truly comes through in their stage presence. They are dedicated in showing the crowd how to fill the room with high energy and crowd involvement in any venue they perform in, including the bowling alley I saw them perform at in Hollywood. Based on their music and presence, they definitely know how to make the punks feel at home.

As New Aesthetics rise in their fame, I am more than excited to see them continue to grow strive as a band. They are playing at the California Is For Lovers Fest on August 31st in Los Angeles, CA, so go check them out if you have the chance to or want to dive right into new music and overall have a great time with lots of fun. Go support New Aesthetics by buying their merchandise or simply streaming their music on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube!
